Danish Banking Customers Let Down By IBM DB2

Customers of Denmark's largest bank were left in the dark after of errors with IBM's database software brought service down in mid March.
Danske Bank Group said the outage had "significant" consequences that involved payments and the trading and settlement of currencies and securities. The outage started on the 10th March 10 as a routine operation to replace a defective electrical unit in an IBM storage system.
